Welcome to Summer at Camp Loyaltown!
For more than 40 years, Camp Loyaltown has helped campers discover independence along with new strengths and experience the joys of friendship, fun and personal achievement free from challenges they face daily. Camp Loyaltown is a program of Citizens, a leading provider of services for individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities.
Camp Seasons kicks off!
Camp is off and running as we welcomed our Session 2 campers this weekend! We have an all new sensory garden complete with hand carved wooden benches, a water feature, and the sounds and sights that will delight all who stroll along its path. There are vegetable and fruit planting boxes and the first “fruits” of our labors will be ready to be picked and prepared in our cooking activities. Adjacent to our sensory garden, our nature center has been renovated and is now fully accessible to welcome all campers. The horses are back! The stables are being stocked with plenty of hay to welcome three therapeutic riding horses this season. A camper favorite, our heated therapeutic pool, is warming up a bit more each day.
