The health and safety of our guests and staff members remains the highest priority.  Our team continues to monitor information from New York State & Greene County Department of Health as well as national and international agencies to remain informed and proactive as new information develops. Please refer to our FAQs as we will be providing regular updates as new information becomes available.

Camp Loyaltown 2022

Yes! Camp Loyaltown will be operating this summer. Please see below on how to apply as enrollment requirements have changed to create a safe environment for the summer 2022 season.

The dates are as follows:

  • Session One: 6/12 – 6/26
  • Session Two: 6/26 – 7/10
  • Session Three: 7/10 – 7/24
  • Session Four: 7/24 – 8/7
  • Session Five: 8/7 – 8/21
  • Session Six: 8/21 – 8/28
  • Session Seven: 8/28 – 9/4

For the health and safety of everyone involved, we have lowered capacity of our summer sessions.

Due to lower capacity, and ensuring that everyone has an opportunity to attend, we are limiting all campers to one session. However, we will accept requests to be placed on a waitlist for additional sessions.

We are requesting a medical for that has been done within the year. Uploading this to CampDoc will satisfy the enrollment. When a new medical is obtained, please upload it as soon as possible.

Having this document ensures that we can bill Medicaid directly and is how most campers are funded to attend.

In Section 2, we should be listed in the Safeguard. In Section 4, we should be listed as, Type of Service: Respite, Service Provider: Citizens Options Unlimited, Frequency: Hourly

We require everyone to be fully vaccinated. A booster shot is strongly recommended.

Please provide documentation that the applicant has received 2 MMR (Measles, Mumps & Rubella) shots before the start date of their session.

In the event your child tests positive for COVID-19, they will be quarantined in one of our dedicated cabins. We will immediately reach out to the Emergency Contact and your child must be picked up within 24 hours of the call.

Our thoughtful camp administration team, knowledgeable health staff, diverse international group of counselors, and handy maintenance team will all be on staff this summer to give your child the best camp experience.

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer horseback riding this year. However, we will have animals in our nature barn!

The availability of the pool will be dependent on recruiting an adequate number of waterfront staff. We will provide updates as new information is available.

We will be exploring this further. Updates to follow.

This summer we are opening camp for our regular 2 week sessions. We will be providing more information on our respite weekends in late September so please check back for updates. Until then, please also consider Citizens respite and recreation programs.

It is suggested that if your plans include engaging in our Respite Connections program, then yes keep this in the budget.  If you live out of state or are unable to attend Respite Connections in Brookville or our anticipated Virtual Program, you should consider taking the funds out of the budget.  This way they can be used for other needs.

Yes. We are requiring all applicants to use CampDoc when applying for any session. Please work with your Care Manager while completing your application.

You will receive an email invitation when applications are available. Click here for more information on how to apply.

We’re using a new application and health record system. While it is user-friendly, we understand it’s very different than Bunk1. While filling in your application, please check on the right-hand side of your application. Next to each section is a symbol. If you see a red dot, that means there is at least 1 part of the section still needs to be completed. Once every part of the section is completed, the red dot will turn into a green check mark. Please check every part of each section that is still a red dot until it turns into a green checkmark.

These documents include the Medical Packet, Behavior Support Plan, Life Plan, immunizations, insurance cards, vaccination card, and if applicable, Self-Directed Budgets.

You don’t! This is an application error. We ask that you upload something so the application can mark that section as complete. What you upload to fill this section in is up to you but please make sure it is appropriate.

Once you’re in the Application page of CampDoc, click on the Medical Packet section. On the Medical Packet page there is a green box titled Download Template. Please click on this button to automatically download our medical packet.

That’s okay! We understand parts of the application are out of your control. Please promptly schedule any necessary appointments so your application is completed sooner rather than later. If an appointment can not be set until after the due date, please let us know. Completing an application after the due date will not hinder your chance of enrollment.

If you have a specific medical question that relates to the application, please send an email to Please title the subject of your email “Medical Question for [Camper’s Name]”. Our Nurse Manager will then respond to your inquiry.

Once you have completed 100% of your application, you will receive a congratulatory pop-up notification! We will also be informed that your application is complete. At least once a week, Camp Loyaltown’s Medical Team along with our Camp Director and Assistant Director, will review each application to confirm we can meet the needs and support the applicant for this summer. We will then reach out to you.

We ask that you first contact your Care Manager. If the question can not be resolved, we ask that your Care Manager contact us directly. You can also refer to our CampDoc page.

Bunk1 will be closing their platform.

After thoughtful consideration, administration found this platform to be user-friendly while focusing on camper health and safety. This site is HIPAA certified, which ensures that the information maintained is kept secure.

We are requesting that you upload your paperwork to your CampDoc account. The platform has been designed to track all documents, ensuring compliance and accuracy for all parties.

At this time, we are confirming this option.

Camp Loyaltown is going paperless! For environmental, logistical, and practical reasons, we think this is for the best moving forward. If you have submitted a faxed document, please upload it directly to the CampDoc application.

The maximum file size is 5MB. Modern phones create large files, so it’s best to have them scanned on a home printer or copy machine. Alternately, breaking the packet into several smaller files can also be effective.
